  1. Hello, this looks like it will be a great tool, but I have some questions for you. First, my project GIS was not displayed. Secondly, I am running SWAT Rev 637 – can this tool also run any other Rev than 627 which is what came up? Thirdly – I don’t see any way to kill a run once it is started.

    • Hi Ketie,

Good to know you are using this tool. For your questions,

      1. This tool loads the shapefiles generated by ArcSWAT in shp folder. Please check if the shapefiles exists.

      2. The tool uses a modified version of SWAT Rev 627, where the output file format is changed. SO it can’t run Rev 637 directly. My plan is to support every latest version. If you want to use that version, I could add it later.

      3. Yes, there is no way to kill a run in current version. I could add it in next version.

With basic functions ready, further development is still on the way. Please send any questions and comments. We want this tool to be helpful for all SWAT users.

      Regards
      Michael

  2. Hi Michael

I was also excited about the tool but just like Katie, it does not expand the project. It only opens the shapefile and rivers but nothing more from the SWAT output. I am using rev 635

    • Hi Nelly,

To expand the project, please run the simulation first by selecting the scenario node in the project explorer and clicking one of the run button.

Please feel free to send any comments and questions.

      Regards
      Michael

  3. Hi Michael: I am using your interface. I noticed that when displaying the results of FlowOutcms in each reach, the annual average is equal to the sum. Is it correct?

It is a very nice interface. Congratulations to you and all your team.

    Sergio

    • Hi Sergio,

Good to know you are using the interface. Please feel free to send any questions and comments.

Regarding your questions, it seems have problems for flow unless the sum is actually the average. I will have a look when I get time.

      Best regards
      Michael

      • Hi Sergio,

With a quick check, the annual average here is the total divided by the number of years. It may be not appropriate for flow although it make sense four runoff or some loading outputs.

        Best regards
        Michael

      • HI Michael:

Thanks for your prompt response. However I still have some questions regarding the interface:

        1. I am displaying the outflow of each reach. When I choose to display Each Year (e.i. 2003) it shows me the map for January of 2003, and the table to the right also show me the value corresponding to January. How I can do to change the display to February, march, etc of 2003 as well as changing the map?

        2. How I can do to load observed monthly outflows to compare with the modeled ones?

        Thanks for your help.

        Sergio.

      • Hi Sergio,

I assume you are using monthly simulation.

For your second question, please prepare a csv file with two columns for time and value respectively. And the time should use the first day of each month. For example, for January 2003, use 2003-01-01. And then in the project view, select the reach on the map and choose monthly option on the right. And then choose the variable from the list. Use the load button to add the csv file.

For your first question, I need to check when I get access to the program. It’s possible to change the date before. But I may disable that function at some point.

        Best regards,
        Michael

  4. Hello
I have used the SWAT Output viewe. I have realised that it does not provide legend for each map generated.
